Our Translators

Here at TriBus we have established a team of highly motivated translators. Each week we will profile one of them in their own words - not just in English but also in their native language.

This week it is the turn of Ivanka Minova.
 

My name is Ivanka Minova. I was born in 1978 in Bulgaria. I graduated the Plovdiv University in 2001 with master's degree in English language and literature. I have been working as a teacher ever since. My other passion is translation-medical texts in particular. I enjoy translating a lot because it requires not only profound knowledge of the respective language but also dedication, hard-work and a hint of imagination. For me it is job that can be as fulfilling and exciting as the one of the teacher.

Казвам се Иванка Минова. Родена съм през 1978 година в България. 2001 година придобих магистърска степен по английски език и литература от Пловдивския университет.
От тогава работя като учителка. Другата ми страст са преводите- по-специално на медицински текстове. Обичам да превеждам защото това изисква не само солидни знания за езика но и посвещение ,упорит труд и малко въображение. За мен това е работа която може да бъде също толкова удовлетворяваща и вълнуваща като тази на учителя.
